PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Family Enterprise Initiative: How to Tap the Power of the Family Enterprise Model to Fuel Your Financial Services Practice
A Family Enterprise extends beyond a single-Family Business entity. It encompasses the Family’s entire economic interests, including the main Family Business, secondary Family Businesses, real estate, investments, special assets (such as the Family cabin), and philanthropy. When Family Business Leaders zoom out a bit to take into account all of these important activities of their Family Enterprise, this creates a more thorough, coordinated strategy for the Family’s long-term success, growth, protection, continuity, succession, and a better framework for the critical services of the Family’s Trusted Advisor Team.

This presentation will discuss and highlight the parts of the probate process that financial planners need to know to properly advise their clients. The presentation will walk through the key parts of the process, from start to finish, with an emphasis on what families want to know. Specific, real-life examples will be discussed when possible.
