PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Enable Savings Plan - Savings for Individuals with Disabilities

This one-hour session provides an in-depth overview of the Enable Savings Plan, a tax-advantaged savings program designed to support individuals with disabilities. Financial professionals and those supporting the financial planning process will learn how the Enable Plan operates, who qualifies, and how it interacts with public disability benefits. We will explore investment options, tax considerations, contribution strategies, and recent legislative updates. Attendees will leave equipped to guide clients, families, and organizations in leveraging this valuable tool to enhance financial independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Inherited IRA Planning: Untangling SECURE to Minimize Taxes and Maximize Control

The SECURE Act has dramatically changed the landscape for Inherited IRAs, creating new challenges – but also unique planning opportunities for account owners, surviving spouses, and beneficiaries. In this session, attendees will receive an overview of the rules and apply them to real-world case studies. Regardless of what type of clients you serve, ensure intelligent conversions with intentional IRA planning.

Operational and Technology Efficient Business Drives Growth

Join Jeff Martin, Director of Operations and Service Advisor at DCT Wealth Management, as he shares practical insights from a firm managing over $350 million in assets. This session explores how leveraging technology and refining operational processes can lead to measurable improvements in client service and business scalability. Attendees will learn real-world strategies that helped streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and drive firm growth. Whether you're building infrastructure or optimizing existing systems, this session offers valuable takeaways for improving practice management.

    Harnessing AI in Wealth Management

This session will demystify artificial intelligence for financial advisors by covering the fundamentals of AI, exploring ready-to-use ChatGPT applications that can streamline advisory workflows today, and charting Carson Group’s AI evolution—from initial pilots to our future roadmap. Participants will gain both conceptual understanding and practical takeaways to immediately apply AI tools in their practices.

Investing in an Era of $2 Trillion Deficits and Rising Trade Tensions

This session offers a timely and analytical perspective on the evolving U.S. economic landscape, marked by historic deficits and increasing global trade volatility. Participants will gain insight into the implications of federal debt on financial markets, explore the less obvious ways deficits and fiscal imbalances affect asset prices, and assess the impact of tariffs and trade policy on portfolio strategy. Emphasis will be placed on risk management techniques that help financial professionals construct resilient, forward-looking investment portfolios.
